New Bra

I felt a spark of titillation 
beholding my reflection,
slightly undressed, in the mirror;
I suddenly saw myself a bearer
of precious and forbidden fruits:
fruits someone else would yearn to taste.
It was a winsome thought, though fleeting,
that I was not some moldy leaving,
but a whole damn feast of flavor;
and that someone would be counted lucky
just to get to lick the plates.
